Could at least make it anon 1 and anon 2..Sure would help. Makes one confused when it looks like a person is talking to self.

Ernest: Anonymous is just singing "The Duke's Duet" from "Il Schizophreno".

Which is it Ernest-goes-to-Camp?

Are you
....an intellectual,
....or an academic?

Inquiring minds want to know! BTW - Inquirng minds DID get the joke about CaliN's Anonymice Smiley ...but THIS has me guessing.

(Blushing) No camping. Never camping.

Hmmm. Let's see. Maybe a pseudo-intellectual. I don't have to attend those meetings that way.

Yes, I did teach at the college level.

I can't remember where the "The Duke's Duet" line came from, but I'm guessing FireSign Theatre. ("Ah, Clem") It's too good for me to take credit away from the inspired lunacy of its creator(s).

Re: (Blushing) No camping. Never camping.

That's what I thought.

Just strictly between us, Ernest...I went through a couple of years in the early 90's and having a occasional "yen" for academic men ... long ago and in a former life. Smiley

I recognized "the lingo" right off the bat. Also, I picked up on your spelling nazi behaviors which was a dead give-away. If you need getting over that, let us know. CaliNotary and I went through several twelve step programs to resolve our self-imposed spell policing and correction compulsions.

BTW, I still have yens!! These days I yen for a good true crime book, a fine dog and a pint of Homemade Bluebell once a week.

(sigh) Caught again

I guess it's not just the Japanese that have a yen.

If we meet, I'll have to be sure not to wear tweed. Years ago, between the tweed jacket and the pipe ... oh, never mind.

"The lingo"? Lingua academia? If you or CaliNotary would be my sponsors, I'd love to join a twelve-step program or three to stop being the spelling, punctuation, or grammar police. If there's a twelve-step program to stop correction minutiae, then I'll attend as soon as somebody tells me where the meeting is.

We would tell you but then we would have to kill you. Have LR blindfold you and men in black will pick you up at noon.

I have been told that if you do too much of this, you can go blind.
