Digital Camera,what the min MPixel/macro?
Help, I am looking to buy a DC for my business. I did not want to buy a scanner as it would'nt be practical to tote back & forth in the car. Any suggestions out there???????????

I use an old 5 year Olympus c-700 with 1.2.mp. Being old though it has a slow refresh rate, about 5 seconds between shots. Also beware of the zoom. Nice features but they really eat up the batteries (AA).
If I were to do it over I would get one with the biggest battery pack I can find. I do, however, plan to keep mine for another 5 years.
Best of luck.

Another vote for Olympus
Of the two of us, Lady Rouge has the better camera (Olympus). But I still love my Sony.
Use the optical zoom, NOT the digital zoom. In spite of the battery drain (Sandi has bought an extra battery pack), your pictures will be of better quality.

I have an Olympus C-700 but it's 2.1 MP (Purchased Feb 2002); I've still got it and I like it a lot (need to learn how to use the Manual settings); anyway, I purchased a Kodak 753; the battery has a very long life and I use the macro mode for taking pictures of DL's when necessary.
I switched to the Kodak, because of its small size, fits in the palm of my hand and easy to carry around in my purchase without lugging another "tote" with me.
