WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF THIS!!!!

I got a call from a new agency. I called her back to see if she could do it tomorrow and she told me my neighbor took the job! She just started doing closings and is going to have the people come to her house! Although I'm jealous, I do wish her all the luck!

LO's, SS's, TC's usually want to close a loan, when they want to close a loan. If you ask them to reschedule it, they will use exercise other options first....before they reschedule...

Many borrowers prefer the convenience of signing in THEIR home, so it'll be interesting to see how many your neighbor gets to come to her. Learn from this experience; most times the docs will be date sensitive, and the appointment time is for the borrower's convenience, not ours.

Not always true. Have had quite a few people who have asked if they could do this 'at my office'. I just arrange to meet them someplace mutually convenient and they are quite happy about this. Just depends upon the person, circumstances, who knows... Also, many years ago...when I did have an office... 4 out of 5 B's preferred to come to my office if given a choice.

My experiance with ss is they do not want you to have signers come to your home. I have had a few requiests from mostly borrowers in the process of a divorce. I allways make arrangements to meet somewere else. not my home. I dont think it wise. Difrent story if you have an office.

IMHO, having the borrower(s) go to the NSA's home falls into the category of Not A Good Idea. There are too many possibilities for things to go wrong. Either an office or a restaurant with a quiet corner away from other people is the best idea. Just don't let the borrower(s) spill anything on the docs.
