STAY AWAY!!! They have not paid me for a July signing.

As far as I am concerned, they are BIG NO, NO! They do not even have the decency to return my calls nor email me. They are nice on the phone...DO NOT BE FOOLED BY IT! Just think, if there is more than one person who talks about not being paid, they are telling the truth. Several notaries cannot be wrong at the same time. Two of my invoices took 5 months to pay. DO NOT ACCEPT ORDERS FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I agree STAY AWAY!! I was finally paid last October for a closing I did in July. I got their attention by faxing them the same letter every single day! They finally got everything to me.

HOWEVER, other posters on this board and other boards are having trouble getting paid on a timely basis or possibly even getting paid at all.

BOTTOM LINE: In my humble opinion...stay far away from them. Where there's smoke, there's fire.

I have done signings for them, and have always been paid within 30 days or less. I deal with Maria, and have not personally had any payment issues....others have. So it's up to you whether or not you do business with them.

I am still awaiting payment for a signing I did for them in August, 2004! They did respond to my overdue notice letters and said payment was coming... that was 3 weeks ago! STAY AWAY is my vote! BK-FL

Have done one for them and I seriously had figured I would never be paid (since May). In Nov. I did a last ditch email and I believe it got through to Maria...she responded that it was an oversight and she would see that it would be paid. I did receive their check a couple of weeks later. Even so, I wont be extending anymore credit to them.

Lorraine2, you at least got a call, my calls were...

never addressed and they never returned my emails, nor responded to my faxes. These people only sound professional when they need you to do the job. When you need your money, you will work three times as hard to get them. AMTS is not a good company!
