Any Advice on Repeat Business Marketing??
I am fairly new as a Certified LSA in Nor. Calif. I have had different companies contact me from around the country, but would like advice on how to steer more repeat business my way. Any good ideas beside seding out my card with my invoice? I ask for repeat business when I call with signing completion status. Thanks for any tips, Marla

Hi Marla, If you do a great job with no mistakes ...thats a start. People want to do business with people they like. It takes time to build relationships. Keep yourself always available and keep pluging away! I have been a Loan Signing Agent for 7 years and have appts. everyday now. It took time to build my reputation and I have serviced over 105 companies nationwide. It's also a number's game. The NNA has over 1,800 signing companies for you to solicit. But the Title Companies, Brokers and Lenders pay the most. Good Luck!
Warmest Regards, Shelly

Where is this list of 1,800 SS? I've looked at the "Company Directory" and found a short list of local title companies and lenders.

The National Notary Association's web site has over 1,800 signing services listed. Finding the good companies to work for is hurtle. Getting the good companies to use you as their #1 or #2 Notary/ Signing Agent on a regular basis is another. Everyone makes this job sound so easy... the best part is sitting with the clients at the time of signing. Everything else takes alot of work! Success takes time... but time is all it takes.

I couldn't find the list. Is it in the "members only" area?

Where's the list?
I am an NNA member and also member of the NSA....but I cannot find the list of 1800 companies. I've pulled up the Company Directory but it only gives a list of companies within a specified distance from me....I can get this in my phonebook. But what about the nationwide comapnies?

Re: There is over 3,900 signing services I found on the web.
Shelly, you're obviously new to this board, but selling your services is frowned upon in here. We're here to share information, not to sell it to each other. Telling people that the list is in the paid member section of the NNA website is enough information.

Maybe it's my own bias showing, but I thought she was being facetious....

Re: PLEASE AVOID THE ADVERTISING OF YOUR SERVICES ...
Shelly, I've never seen you post until the this month/year. It seems that every post you have something to say about the NNA -- do you work for them or are they paying you a commission to blow their horn?
Do not use this forum to profit from notaries that don't know any better than to pay for something that they can do on their own. If you want to blow your own horn, then pay for a premier membership and put your information in your profile!

Excuse me! I was just trying to help... my time is not free! Maybe you should read the previous postings before making those kind of jugdements. And I am a premier member... Thank You! I was doing a favor not soliciting my services... maybe I should of put it a DIFFERENT WAY? I'd appreciate the subject dropped.

Shelly, we appreciate this forum as a way for everyone to share their experiences and help each other out. When you offer help for a fee, that would be solicitation, no matter how you put it. I know you meant well, but if you're not willing to spend your time helping others out without wanting monetory compensation, then don't offer it at all.
