Bought Printer without knowing HP-3015
My cousin was doing something online and I had been watching some printers in amazon.com and there is a link that you just click and automatically purchase what ever you have seen in previous days, so he clicked that link, and I dindt notices till I checked my e mail this morning and found a "thank you for you order comfirmation number" I call amazon to cancell the order, no cant do was there answer, I call my credit card to cancell the card and issue me another one and was told that the charge was already approved, nothing could be done.
Any suggestions as far as to what to do. I had a very bad experience with a merchant in New York by the name of LETS GO DIGITAL, and some times amazon gets merchandise from this provider.
TIA
Joseph
PD: The total price was 316.00 dollars

Try to return the item for a refund if possible (just get the package and put return to sender, that usually works), or have your cousin buy it from you if he really wanted it. If worse comes to worse sell it to someone else. For me just putting return to sender usually gives me my refund. Make sure you call a few days after you return it though, and have them cancel the order then.

I was just thinking that if Im home when UPS drops it, I will just refuse the package and have him return it But sometimes they usually drop the package in my front porch without me signing anything.

Odd, well you can still put return to sender and drop it an authorized ups drop site.

If you refuse the package, it doesn't mean you'll get your money back. As a matter of fact, they might even charge you extra to reship to you. Do they have a return policy?

I wouldn't throw that toner away. I had the same problem with one I purchased and the manufacturer sent me a new one. Call HP and tell them. Don't throw it away.

I bought the same one at Office Depot for around the same price. It is actually a good little printer/fax/copier! It was a good purchase. I would consider keeping it for those e-docs we are all getting rich off of {smiles}.

My thoughts exactly.
It has everything you need for edocs, pcl included. If you are already set up for edocs, it is a great backup.

Re: My thoughts exactly.
I will probably keep it, I had a problem with with a Home theater system I purchased from amazon.com and it came in a nice box, but the system was already used, the speakers were all dented and all the speakers were already labeled with stickers like rear, front, etc etc. I was so frustraded, I put a dispute in my credit card, but no help, I bought back in Sept 04 and still not resolved yet from American Express Card
There are so many companies doing business in the internet but some of them are crooks. Paid 40.00 for shipping from NY, I dont want to return back to NY and pay another 40.00 and end up with nothing at all.

No one's mentioned this yet...but...
Make sure that you go in and turn off "One Click Ordering" so that this doesn't happen to you again on Amazon. ESPECIALLY if you allow others to have access to your computer who might not realize that clicking that button does -not- allow you to get more info on the product, but rather buys it. Too late for you now on this purchase, but I'm sure you wouldn't want to be saddled with a much more expensive purchase in the future.
