How about a reference point, please
I'm going to reiterate a suggestion I have made before.
When a poster responds to a previous post, it is often quite difficult to ascertain what he is talking about and to whom he is talking unless there is a reference to the previous post. For this board to be of maximum value to all, it would help if a respondent quoted something from the original post, or listed the original poster's name (unless it is "anonymous," which would be virtually useless), or noted the number of the oriinal post, or recited what the original post was about.
I'm getting old. The synapses don't fire like they once did, the blood doesn't circulate oxygen as much as it used to, the eyes don't capture images as sharply, the nerves don't convey those images as fast, the...you get the picture. If I continue to detail those anatomical aspects that no longer function at peak performance, I might have to admit....well, never mind. The point is, I'd like to know what it is I'm reading about. So can we please provide some sort of reference point?
This applies to all posters except Brenda. Since nobody reads her posts all the way through anyway, we can safely disregard any references there. Most of us would probably prefer not to be reminded of what her posts are about.
