How do I get Started?

I met someone online who gave me this site....I live in Phila., PA and want to know what I need to do in order to become a notary?

Judy, you might want to contact your secretary of state (SOS). Another source you might consider is the NNA (National Notary Association). The last time I renewed my notary license I went through NNA, who offered the membership, commissioning, bonding (Western Surety) , E & O insurance (error and omission), and notary seal as a package. NNA is not the only source, as I believe ASN (American Society of Notaries) also offers something similar. Various states have different requirements, thus the referral to your SOS. My state (FL) has a website that answers all the pertinent questions on how to become a notary.

Pennsylvania Association of Notaries is also a preferred company that does everythig for you...including the 3 hour class now required. Their phone number is 412-281-0678. I do not have a 800 number for them. Their E-mail is [e-mail address] and their web site is www.notary.org

once u become a notary, u will need training on how to do loan signings, u can save a lot of money if u purchase your training material from ebay (believe it or not)
