Just to throw out there to any new notaries tryinig to get started; finally after spending so much time and a good chunk of money I have my first closing today for a lead I got from ssdflorida.com. Its just one closing, but Ive gotton a few email responces too! Anyone ever done closings through this company?

Encouragement is a good thing! I am not exactly a new notary, but I love to hear positive reports from a notary who has jumped in and made it happen.
Good for you!

Thanks, they are paying a fee of $100 ($75 plus $25 for docs I guess), I know rates vary, but this seems to be right, doesnt it?

I'd be happy with that amount.

FLD,
It's hard to say without knowing how far away it is (and what the traffic is like - at the time you are travelling). If it is a reasonable distance away, yes, it seems reasonable.

With an exception to Ameriquest/world Saving loan package, $100 is a fair market fee to work with SS.
BTW. Hats off to your hard work.

Nd_WA, What should one expect from Ameriquest/World Saving loan package through the SS?

Simone To be honest, one would expect nothing short of a nightmare.
