Notary Pro

Received a flyer from NotaryPro this morning trying to recruit sa's stating you can earn more with them. From past experiences, they never pay more than $50 for their signings. Does anyone know if they raised their rates?

Mike, Since you are from CA. Do you mind me asking what do you normally charge for loan signing docs? Seems like there is such a swinging scale from 50-150.

They pay $75 for e-docs (sometimes more) + combo loans they pay $25 more. $50 is for overnite docs.

I do some work for them, but they always say they pay $50. for overnite and $75 for edocs. I have to hold out for more and sometimes they pay it, sometimes they pass....and call someone else who will do it for low pay. They require a lot of fax-backs, etc, so it's a lot for the money. When really close to home, I will do them.

So Sandi, Have you experienced a lack of calls from a company if you turn down a signing with them? Do they find someone who will do the work for their price and stay with them or do they try to call you again. Human nature being what it is I would think they would do what is easiest and best for them.

I am sure that if they find someone who is good at their job, and works cheaper than I....and is available, they'll go there. But they DO keep calling me. I do my very best always, and there are many companies that like working with notaries that have a proven track record.

Re: Notary Pro...got a call from them this morning...

$75 signing fee for my area but $25 cancellation. I said I do not accept cancellation fees, she said she would call back...yeah right.

They usually call about once every 6 weeks or so. I don't know why. Maybe they have a huge base of notaries already. They pay $75 for edocs and $50 for overnights. They, also pay $30 for drive by home evaluations. (You just drive by the property and make sure there is no damage. I did some of those after the hurricanes of Florida.

Notary Pro is an excellent company to work for. This month alone so far I have done more than 50 signings with them. This is not an unusual thing. They pay on the 15th of every month like clockwork.
