Over due fee
Hi, hope someone could help me. I have an account recieveable that is 2.5 months past due. When I call the mortgage lender who hired me to do the signing, I am getting the run around. I have charged them a late fee and sent out the invoice again, but to no prevail and then called them once again. Does anyone know how I owuld go about putting them in a collection agency or what my next step should be? I have also considered going tot he BBB and NJ Dept. of Banking and Insurance with complaints againt the loan officer and his firm he is with. Any advice is kindly appreciated.

It would be helpful to know the name of the company in case someone has the correct person or way of contacting the right person to get you paid.

Yes it would be helpful for the company name. You can also call and ask to speak to the Loan Manager and give them the information. If that fails, call the corporate office and report the branch to them.

It was NovaStar Home Mortgage and the branch office was Columbus OH. Has anyone heard of NOtary America? I am having the same difficulties with them with regarding getting paid. Any suggestions on how I can put them in a collection or what I can do? Thanks in adavance!

Ohhhhh,
You should have done a search on the company before you accepted the signing. I'm sorry to say that join the other 500 people that Notary America has stiffed. You are not likely to get your money, not in this lifetime. Cut your losses.

Ok, I am a member of Notary Rotary. When I click on Signing Services neither name appears. How do you find info on negative no pay companies? What kind 0f search? Help please.

Ron...use the orange search button and search for Notary America. The SS tab no longer has them, if it ever did because they are no longer a viable company...no one is lisiing them any longer, as far as I know.
