Residential Signatures
I did a closing on August 5, 2004, for Residential Signatures, 1101 E. Howard Ct, Visalia, CA and have not received payment from them as of today. I have made numerous phone calls and left messages with the person that answered, who transferred me to bookkeeping, and left another message to no avail. I have written requesting payment also. I contacted Advantage Title Company who gave the job to Residential and was told that they had paid for the services and I should contact them. So, bottom line is - I still have not received payment for this job and would not recommend any other Notary to accept jobs from them at this point.

There have been many negative posts similar to yours about this company and the empty promises from Josie. Stay away!

my experience is that eventually these people will pay, but not soon enough to ever work with them again!

Approximately 2 years ago I took an order from Residential. After accepting the order I found out their reputation but decided since I'd accepted I'd go through with it. Day of the closing docs don't arrive for an a.m. closing. Since Advantage is on the east coast and I am too, I called them and asked what was going on. They said docs didn't go out and they were now going to be e-docs, could I do them. I told Scott at Advantage that I wouldn't because of Residential's reputation and I wasn't going out further on a limb than I already was. He said he would pay me for the e-mail part directly if I'd do the order. So, I said yes. A few days later I received from Scott a money order for the e-doc fee. Quite some time later I hadn't been yet paid by Residential. I called, faxed, whatever to no avail. I then called Residential and told them I hadn't been paid. They were 'quite shocked' because Residential gets paid on disbursement. The moral of this story is Residential is a terrible payer and Advantage is just as bad because we've seen posts continually stating Advantage is the title company and they continue to use REsidential, knowing their reputation. Wonder if Josie is someone's little sister?

I have done several directly from Advantage. I can assure you it is not them. They pay title fees and pay on time. Josie IS the problem with Residential, She has many sob stories if you give her time to tell them. Just tell her you are going to the AG & SOS, you will get paid. I cant say anything about CJ, never did any work for them.
