What do you get for $50.00 per year?? I am fairly new too, and hoping to get more calls. Thanks, Marla

The registry is beginning to attract more and more companies who realize that the members are serious about this business and commited for the long haul. We have many members who are extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to share this knowedge. The messageboard is private and professional and even though we can get silly at times we are oh so polite . You are expected to have some signing experiance before you are listed and to take a test. I love notary rotary and gmn both, but the SR is dear to my heart.

Maureen/nh or others what does 'gmn' stand for in your msg. I'm a member of notary rotary and NNA but am always looking for other good sites. SigningRegistry does sound interesting.

They are expensive to me. I found notary rotary to be more within reason.

Expensive compared to Notary Rotary? I don't follow you. There is a vast difference between Notary Rotary and The Signing Registry. They perform different functions. You can't compare apples and oranges, or peaches and plums. Besides, you're only talking about $11. (A difference of about 3¢ a day!) Now that's assuming you have a premier membership at NotRot.
What Harry provides for premier membership is a bargain at twice the price. And what the SR has to offer is also a bargain.

I suggest you visit the Signing Registry. Their website portal address is http://www.signingregistry.info. From there, you can select to join the registry, which will take you to their information page on joining, or simply click on the GOLD button to access the main website.
As previously mentioned, there is a message board as well (blue button), but the forum is restricted to active Signing Registry members.
If you want more information, please visit the website, or email me directly ( [e-mail address] )

Re: Signing Registry..Can I register????
I AM new to notary signings, but I was a bank loan officer for 10 + years and loan documentation is a "walk in the park." I am very comfortable and professional with the clients I have signed so far. Do you think my experience will "count" so I may register? I have only had 4 assignments thus far????? Marla

Re: Signing Registry..Can I register????
Any notary signing agent can join the SR. (You don't even need to be currently commissioned, as long as you are commissioned within 30 days of joining.) And, you do not need to have completed any signings. The stipulation of completing 12 signings is to be listed in the directory, not as a membership requirement.
The SR was established primarily as a knowledge and learning tool for Signing Agents. It is not a Signing Agency or referral service, however, I can honestly say that I have received signing assignments (and thus, new clients) as a direct result of my membership there.
Also, the SR is the only place that I know of, that offers qualified and professional signing agent mentors, with no additional costs.

Re: Signing Registry..Can I register????
And as an owner of a Florida based signing agency (Florida only!), I give preference to Signing Registry members. I go there first for a signing agent, and only go to other sites if I cannot fill the order with a SR member.
