Southern California notary Luncheon Update:
Date: Sunday, March 6, 2005

Cost Per Person: $17.75 (includes Coffee, Tea or Soft Drink, Tax & Gratuities)
I chose this location with the hopes that we will have a good turn out. It’s right off the 134 Freeway just east of the 5 Freeway. They have a private room that I have “booked” for the occasion.
We’ll be having a 50/50 drawing along with lots of door prizes. We’ll be having that all popular White Elephant Gift Exchange

I recently replied to an e-mail inquiry asking about the same, here's a copy of my reply:
This is a venue for Southern California Notaries and Signing Agents to get together to talk, to network, to exchange info, to exchange ideas, to share experiences and to let one know they are not alone!
White Elephant Exchange - a gift (xmas or otherwise) that you received that you really don't want -- or -- you can make a gift of office items/supplies you use that you like a lot.
Be sure to bring lots of cards, as we pass them around to one another, etc.

I'm sure that's for the buffet, PLUS coffee, tea, etc. (Don't know if that includes pie, but I'm sure you can find out!) :>)
At the luncheons there is usually a business card exchange, raffle for misc donated notary supplies, introductions around the room, and possible information exchange or updates. (We had a guest speaker at the last one.)
Unfortunately, I won't be able to make this one, as I will be out of town. Hope you all have a good time!!
