This is the address I got when I did a yellow page search:
Sirianni, Thomas A 690 Broadway # 203, Massapequa, NY 516-797-6500
Also, I did receive an e-mail yesterday from his company stating that they are having financially difficulties and should have all notaries paid in full by February 1, 2005.

Reading this doesn't give me much hope that they will pay me for the signing I did in the beginning of December. I don't understand how they could not be paying. I am sure they have received their money. Signing companies generally receive their payment upon disbursement, so why are they short of funds? Just doesn't make sense.

And he's an attorney. He gets paid good money. They get paid upon disbursement. Most of the title companies that I do signings for have me on the HUD and I get a check mailed immediatley.

Loretta,
I agree. I know when I closed my loan it was at an attorney's office and he was the person handing out the funds. However, maybe he is not a closing agent, where the attorney handling mine was. This law firm may be just a notary or signing service and not gotten the ok for being a closing agent and therefore, would not have been the person disbursing the money. However, either way the attorney should have been paid within two weeks and we should be paid within a week after that. It shouldn't take longer than 30 days. Just my thoughts.

I just read that you did the signing in December. On the confirmation page that I received from them it stated that basically they reserve the right to pay within 60 days of the closing. I didn't know this at first (my own fault) or else I would have never accepted the closing but when it was well over 60 days (almost 90 days) I knew there was a problem. Like I said just stay firm and don't back down, even it means contacting them everyday.

My confirmation says "Invoices will be paid 45 days from the end of the month in which signing takes place."
I did 2 closings in November so figure I should be receiving those checks this week.

Hi, I am new to posting on this site but I also had problems with Mr. Thomas Siianni's office. It took about 4-5 phone calls before and a few e--mails informing them that either they pay up or else. I was told that they had upgraded to a new system for paying notaries a couple of times and also received a generic letter stating the same information. They actually called a couple times since this incident and I declined to assist. Stay firm and the NNA is also an excellent source for getting advice on how to handle situation such as this. Good luck!

I did a closing for him in October, just got a check (dated 12/15/04) yesterday. This was after informing his office that I was going to file a complaint with the NYS Attorney Gerneral's Office. But, stupid me, did a signing for them in December (prior to not getting paid) and I guess I'll have to make the same demands.

Well my attorney is faxing him a "love" letter today and also sending it certified mail stating that he is to pay me in full now to avoid further action. He's even including a signing I did for him December which should not be paid for until mid February.
