United Notaries ~ Payment Finally Received!

I did a last minute signing for United Notaries on November 24, 2004 (the day before Thanksgiving). After six telephone calls to them inquiring about payment and them telling me that "the check was in the mail" I finally received payment today, January 19, 2005. The check is dated December 10, 2004. Once the check clears I plan on calling them and having them remove me from their list of vendors.

I had the same problem. They told me when they called me for the first assignment the check would go out on the 15th of the month following the signing. Took 2 months for me to get the check too.

I did a signing for a SS on 12/15/04 and the check was cut 12/20/04. I received the check on 01/14/05, Why do they do this? Why dont they mail the damn check when it's cut!

See if the amount they 1099 you (if it is over $400)....includes that check.

Technically it shouldn't because you didn't receive it until this year.... but because it was cut last year, they may include it.... I know its not much, but...

3 different Names - Same Company?!

I have done work for United Notaries, ECS , and E - Loan Inc.
They all appear to be the same company. (If I am wrong please let me know so that I may update MY database!)
