Washington State is NOT an attorney state...

This is in response to a thread posted yesterday in which pan/nd said apparently Washington is an attorney only state. I'm in Washington and do signings on a fairly regular basis. Just to set the record straight. We have enough attorney-only states already...don't want to add another one!

I assumed and apparently I assumed wrong.

If I recall, the guy's property was in Washington state and the SS for some reason said an attorney had to be present.

So, one was.

And so, I figured that Washington was one of "those" states.

But as Bill O'reilly says, "I could be wrong." And, it looks like in this instance, I am.

Glad you set the record straight. Heaven forbid that anyone would imply that North Dakota is one of "those" states.

But, that's been done, too.
