Please do a search (or read all the messages). You will find a mulititude of information on this subject. But, just for the record, here are my personal recommendations:

Multifunction: HP Laserjet 3300 series (3330/3380 is very common among notaries)
Printer only: HP Laserjet 1300 (if you can find one) replacement: HP Laserjet 1320

This is for Paul or any one who may know. Can you tell me if we can buy a second tray for the HP lasejer 1320tn or is it just a feeder tray. (Like a storage tray, when the one tray is empty). I just bought it and spent hours with HP Customer Service on line. Never got a reply why I couldn't print legal and letter simultaneously. Thanks, for your help, Simone

As far as I know, the 1320tn printer has TWO (2) 250-sheet paper trays in it's standard configuration. There would be no need to buy a second tray, it's already included, and I don't think you can add a third tray.

Paul I found what I needed to do. One has to specify the trays set up. For those who may be interested, Open tool box from Desktop, Go to Device Setting, Paper Handling, and set up the choices. Tray 1 is for Envelope, Tray 2 is for letter, and tray 3 is for legal. When you look at the printer itself, the top part is not numbered, but when I opened it I realized that it is for envelope, the next is mark 2 and the last is mark 3. Thank you so very much for confirming this with me.
