chase prototype question
Just wondering if anyone has ever done a chase protoype signing. In the beginning, titled closing package, there is a check list with columns with headings recieved, dated, executed and customer given copy. There are spaces to initial near each one. Are those spaces for the notary to initial? I usually do, but was speaking to another notary who usually leaves this check list blank. Just wondering what everyone else does. Thanks so much.

Please forget about what eveyone else does and find out what the assigning company requires you to do. Everyone may have an opinion on this but the company will have the answer to your question. I always go to the source for answers and never have a problem.

If you received this signing from TUSS, the instructions I have been given is to initial for "set given to borrower and indicate that it was signing (I dont remember the exact verbage for that column)
Hope this helps.

Unless You're a Settlement Agent...
...& if you're referencing the same Chase prototype loan packages I've done for Tran Union, you don't do anything with it. For example there's verbage contained in that "check list" stating you're to deliver the DOT to the courthouse for filing with the Recorder of Deeds. Do you plan on satisfying that requirement? Call Trans Union to verify if you have any doubts.

HI,
IF THE COMPANY ATTACHES A CK LIST IN WITH THE CLOSING PKG. AND THE PAPER SAY'S "THIS MUST BE FAXED BACK TO US IN ORDER FOR PAYMENT" THEN I WOULD INITIAL ALL THE BOX'S WITH <YOUR INITIALS> AND FAX IT BACK TO THE COMPANY ALONG WITH YOUR CLOSING REPORT.
IF THEY DO NOT ASK FOR THE PAPER BACK, THEN IT'S A MOT POINT!
IF I CAN BE OF ANY OTHER HELP TO YOU PLEASE E-MAIL ME @ <[e-mail address]> OR CALL ME AT <321-480-2039>
