information sharing - california

I see a lot of requests - either direct or implied - for info on what different SS and title co. are paying. Naturally, no one wants to give out the info to competition.

I see a lot of people are from California. Naturally, since it's the most populus.

What I am willing to do is to collect info, as a totally disinterested 3rd party, and then pass the info back to all who gave input.

For instance info on doing a refi 20 miles one one from home:

Area ( city/zip) SS name or title co name fee e-doc fee


If this would be useful, respond with info on how you would like the format, other info to be collected etc.

If I get multiple responses for ss/title co. I will average and give high/low ranges.

If there is enough interest in this, once the format is set, I will post an e-mail address to send the info to.

The only way this can be of use is if people are honest (don't want dreams - "should be charging xxx, so thats what I'll send in")

It seems to me that a simple response as Cali wrote doesn't cnstitute the response of "You have had quite a few unwanted responses lately.

I fo one read all of some peoples responses, and very few of others, as they seem to jump on the band wagon of others. At least Cali has an independent opinion.

Thanks km. I have no idea why my referencing a previous thread is "unwarranted". I can see people getting annoyed by some of my posts, but that one?

Don't worry, you just talked me into that. You are rude and I find no information that you place on this board to be worth my reading. That is my opinion, just like yours, we are all entitled to one. I am really sorry that you cannot find something nice to say about anything. Art is a very wise man, I have spoken with him personally and he knows what he is talking about.
I am sorry that when someone is willing to help others, someone finds a way to belittle them on this site, that's a real shame.
