pay sites

I am registered on here and 123notary.com as well as a few other freebies that I don't get much from. I am in a very rural area and usually when they call me they say they can't find anyone else close enough. My question is of the pay sites out there....which do you guys feel would be invaluable for me? I am new in the business and don't want to be forking out a lot of money right off the bat....Although I know you have to spend money to make money.....I've been doing good getting calls from this site and 123notary. I was listed on 123notary for free because there are less than 4 notaries in my area. I want to try a couple of the pay sites and just wanted some feedback on which ones you think would be worth it for me.

None of them, invest your dimes with 123 & NR, I get more calls from them both then anywhere else. Yeah, I know I should talk, but I HAVE been intending to get primer memberships with both, but something alway coms up. Damn kids anyway. lol

I, last week Paid $35 for a one membership Listing on the Signing Registry..

There are quite a few posts, suggesting them as being an A-OKAY -Worth the Money to join List.

Best of Luck in your endeavors-- Glad you asked the Question--

I stand corrected.. I paid $ 35 for a one Membership in "The Mobile Notary."

I have the info to join The Signing Registry @ $50 / yr. and in the process of doing that also.

Thank you Paul for contacting me on that.

Does it pay to get a premier membership on here if I am probably just about the only notary that usually comes up in my area? Many times I get calls for closings that are way too far from me and I am usually able to negotiate the rate but sometimes they are just too far with me working fulltime. I can't do a late evening closing and then get up at 5:30 or 6:00 am to go to work.

I pay to be on NNA ($100+), 123 top listing ($200+), Premier listing on Gomobilenotary & Notary Rotary ($40 each?), Signing Registry ($50 - I would pay for this one even if I didn't get a single job, but the referrals and information from other members are well worth it!) Add in business cards and my advertising budget is about $500 a year, about 1% of my income. I get top listing or preferred listing wherever I can.

Some things you just can't skimp on if you want to work this job full time including a good computer, car, reliable laser printer, fast internet connection, extended cell plan and I'm sure there are more.

Just My Opinion.

Thanks, I'm not planning on skimping, just want to check on which are the best to pay for. I'm not planning on doing this full-time as I have a full-time job that I love and like the steady paycheck every week. This is a side job for me.

I'm on Signingagent.com, Notary Rotary, Notary Depot and 123 Notary. Notary Depot is free, but I haven't received any signings from them. I received 2 calls within 4 hours of being on Notary Rotary. I just switched to Premier with NR because I am so impressed with the forum and feel that you should support the ones that provide you service. I was only listed on signingagent.com before and they kept me very busy for the last couple of years.
