Sounds like they had bad experiences with notaries and couldn't handle it. Their message really sounds unprofessional. Perhaps they are not a seasoned company. So many signing agencies work on a small scale and do not have the resources to handle adversity. I would steer clear of this company.

From what I just read on their first page.... they aren't going to get anyone to work for them.
They say that "Attorney's will not be considered", then when you scroll down a bit, it says we will work with "Attorneys Only".
Just another Company that is two bubbles off plumb.

As Brenda correctly guessed, no, I had nothing to do with their board. The board software is open source from php (called phpBB). That's what the Signing Registry is using as well as over 10,000 other message forums, boards and websites. Of course, being open source, means that creative development can make things look strikingly similar or nothing at all like any others.

One of the first things I learned as a new NSA was that there were lots of rude people in the business...but **lots of very nice ones** as well.

I bend over backwards to be pleasant; I do my best to never get flustered because of rudeness.

I try to model a wise SS owner who once said "if they don't like my decisions, there are lots more clients to be found."

The great part of our job is that we don't have to work for the same rude people daily from 8 am to 5 pm. I hardly even hear the rudeness anymore.
