"Unknown" in New Jersey I beleive? Please Post with a Handle and State--people are more apt to respond with knowledgeable replys. I Will try to provide you with what I have, in an effort to assist you per your request. (Not trying to sound rude or mean in any way-but do you want the Truth or ?????)

'Speedy Closings- 3 hour drive to do an accepted assignment today?' " Why?"

You said you read the previous negative Posts from October--then "Why did You Accept?"

Did they offer you an Outstandingly "can-not resist type fee?"

Whatever your reasoning- lets go from there.

Also read Mssg. #8194 on 9/14/04; and Mssg. # 8252 on 9/18/04; also on "GoMobileNotary Forum Post" on 9/30/04 and many others.

Have you looked at Notary Beware?

Also visit a new site www.the450.com/ratings "SLOW/LOW/NO PAY"

Sorry, you may be doing a FREEBEE in all the ice and snow, and driving, sure hope you are being adequately compensated--However your Eyes are Wide Open- from what you previously read, and the Posts referred to here..

Honestly, you have me 'Scratching my Head'--!

I wouldnt drive 3 hours for a closing, unless it was for atleast $400+
I did one closing for Speedy about a year ago. Took 4 months to get paid. Just wont sign for them anymore. Good Luck.

I had to contact them several times before receiving payment. The check did arrive as indicated however the it was for a lesser amount. Many signings were cancelled at the last minue and I found the staff to be disorganized. It's been awhile since I accepted any from them so it's possible that they were able to work out the bugs. Good luck.

I would beware on payments from them. Make sure all is in writing with the correct amounts as they take a long time to pay and it will not be what you contracted for. Just my experience with them. Good luck!!

They owed me 250 from Nov. I called a couple of times in Jan and finally received the whole amount. Scary

If you having problems with no or slow payment by Speedy Closings in NJ. And the title company was Fiserv, you can call Kathy Jud at 1-800-842-8423. She is with Fiserv's vendor management department and let her know your situation.
