I have and when they did pay, it wasn't the agreed upon fee. They conveniently forgot to pay for the email documents I printed. Speedy is also known as Allied and Door to Door. I believe Door to Door was what they started as. I originally did a signing for them but they took almost 5 months to pay. I had to call almost every day in order to be paid. Then when they called again, I kept saying no. The only thing I can think of for them changing their name so many times, is that they don't pay and need a new name to get notaries to work for them. Keep bugging them and hopefully they will pay you. ;)

Speedy Closings bought out Door To Door, they are not the same owners - but seems they have the same payment problems.

Re: signing company:Speedy & On Call are related! & Crooks

FYI: Speedy's "Frank" and On Call's "Joann" are brother and sister.
They both are slow to pay, they both short you when they finally do pay. Not to mention they are both very rude and unprofessional. I don't understand why title companies continue to give them business when they have such a bad reputation with their notaries.
I will never not do business with them again and I warn that unless you want a major headache, you might not want to either. You'll spend more time fighting to get your invoice paid and paid correctly than the actual appointment itself.

Had a heck of a time getting paid by this company.
I finally contacted the LO that was at the Signing, and told
him (after 5 months) that I couldn't get paid. He must
have done something because, I got paid 2 weeks after
I talked with him.
I'll be "Speedy" to say NO the next time they call.

RUN - DON'T WALK IF THIS COMPANY CALLS YOU - THEY SAY THEY WILL PAY ON THE 30TH OF THE FOLLOWING MONTH, WHICH IS BAD, BUT THEY DON'T PAY - OR HAVEN'T YET!!!!!

speedy closings called me this morning to do a closing for them this afternoon.....I didnt have time to check on them and their reputations, but because Ive been really slow this year, I thought I would give them a try. It was an hour away, and of course it was edocs...they "claimed" they would pay me $100....... After reading this, I'm glad that it got cancelled....

Thanks for your postings...I now have them on my "NO-NO" list.

If you having problems with no or slow payment by Speedy Closings in NJ. And the title company was Fiserv, you can call Kathy Jud at 1-800-842-8423. She is with Fiserv's vendor management department and let her know your situation.
