Commission for a state other than your resident state

Anyone any idea?? I would really appreciate help in this regard.

Some do, some don't. Usually you're required to either live or 'have a job' (NSAing doesn't count). Must be a job with a defined actual constant 'location'. Best thing to do is call the SOS in the state you're interested in--and ask!

I'm commissioned in WI, MN and IA. MN and WI require that you live in or in a bordering state. IA requires you live in the state or have business in the state. When I contacted the S of S in Iowa, I was told that if your business is a SA, you are doing business there, so it qualifies. The best thing to do is check with the Secretary of State in the state in which you want to do business.
