Dell 1700 Help

I have the Dell 1700. I have one tray. I want to print out everything on legal but if there is a document that should be printed on letter it jams. I ahve been on hold forever with Dell and am getting really frustrated. I hope this makes sense.

Read that post but that person has 2 trays so his problem is different than mine. I have 1 tray therefore I don't need for my printer to distinguish b/w legal/letter. Thanks anyways.

A suggestion from the technically challenged

I think that person was alluding to the fact that your default setting may be looking for a second tray that is not there, and may be causing your jam. Nd, from Washington always has great insight and knowledge, especially in regards to Dell. Best of luck:-)
