Help Please first signing tomorrow.
Typed names on loan docs differ on the docs. Example: Patricia P. Moore and Patricia Paula Moore. Should they sign as the name appears on the individual documents?

Make sure you check her I.D. As long as it has her full name of Patricia Paula Moore, you will be fine. The i.d will verify her full name, and after that she is to sign exactly as appears on docs.

Where in California are you located? I am always curious to find out how really saturated we are. I am in Southern California, Riverside county.

I live North East of Truckee. Could you answer this question? In my package of documents I have a acknowledgement that has a typed future date of the 29th not sure what to do.

Well according to SOS handbook, you can never sign something when it has a future date, it can have a past date, but never future. I would attach a loose certificate with correct information, and put a line through the old acknowledgement and write see attached certificate.

Thanks! Do you do very many signings with so many notaries in your area. I have had 7 calls this last 2 weeks but this was the first that didn't conflict with prior obligations. I hope it keeps up, I have changed my schedule around so that I can accept more jobs.

I consistently get a Mortgage Deed in my packet with a future date, however it's not for me to notarize. It will be notarized by someone else when the deed is filed. I just ignore the certificate and I've never been called about it. There's also nowhere for the customer to sign, so I wouldn't notarize it anyway. Is the document you're looking at a "deed"?

It is a disbursement of funds form.

Well, generally the funds ARE being disbursed after the three day right to cancel, so the 29th sounds right. If the closing is on the 25th, they have until midnight on the 28th to cancel, so then any funds are disbursed on the next business day, the 29th. But it also sounds like it's a form that you should not be notarizing. I'd have to read the verbiage on it to say for sure.

Re: Cyndi - posting borrower names
Cyndi I hope you aren't actually posting the *REAL* name/identity of the borrower.
