Hit a plateau and asking for help...

I've seem to hit a plateau on the number of companies who call on me regularly. I'm ready to 'press the flesh' of the local title companies, etc. When I do my cold calls, I'd like to leave a flyer behind along with some business cards. I searched here and found 35 messages about flyers - but I'm still unsure of my phrasing, etc...

If you are NOT in San Diego County and would like to share your flyer with me - please send it via e-mail or fax me at 619 265-8277. Thank you!!!

P.s. why the heck does my spell check not work on the word flyer??? is it flier? Oy vey!

I will fax you a copy of a flyer I use when I market directly to the local title companies. It usually helps if I have a box of donuts or candy. Seems to get everyone's attention right away. I am getting a slow but positive response to this kind of local marketing. Anybody have other ideas out there, I am up for those as well.

oh yeah. We're a bunch of pigs here, that's for sure - food everywhere.

Sam (please) bring a bottle of Metabolife instead?

and a tip: hit on escrow managers/officers only (no assistants - they're already trying to get the work you're trying to get). After that first signing (and a whole lot of legwork/cold calling before hand) send a gift cert for lunch someplace NICE around the local area, as a thank you. It works. It's an investment, but make sure you say "thanks" in a BIG way. They won't forget you.

I'm still feeding work to an appraiser who sent me such a gift cert after giving him some nominal title info over a year ago. His way of saying thanks was pretty powerful...plus I like the guy.
