Name Affidavit - looked it up cant find an answer

looking over a loan package.

Name Affidavit says;

"Before me, the undersigned authority, a notary public in and for said county and state, on this day personally appeared (name of borrower)
As attorney in fact (affiant), a credible person to me well and truley known, who having been by me first duly and lawfully sworn upon oath deposes and states;

then they are doing this one and the same thing with variations of their name.

Question;
Can I notorize this thing considering I dont know them (satisfactory evidence being used)
The wording seems kinda strange.
Any input for California

Thanks
Rob

When in doubt attach a California Jurat or ACK then you can notarize it.
