OT- He's coming back!
Well, the court thing went well! He is coming back to AZ on 8/1 and soon, everything should be back to normal. The court system is a nightmare but we survived. Thanks to all for the opinions and research advice. Some of the info you posted did help... and the encouragement was great.

Sorry Melody. It was an OT post regarding a custody battle that I went through for my nephew who has lived with me for the last 5 years. Some very kind people on this board gave me some educated opinions of a 'precedence' set by the court that I was having a hard time with.
The related posts are 48665, 48691 and the background is in 48703.
It all worked out well and the court ruled in our favor but it was a NIGHTMARE and after 12K in lawyers fees and him being browbeaten for the last 6 weeks by his mother and her control freak boyfriend... it was a bittersweet victory.
