Question about HP Laserjet 4000 printing.

I have a question about printing with the Laserjet 4000. How do I get the documents to print out on the paper size that they are on in the pdf. I have tried everything that I can find and still cannot figure out how to get them to print on the correct paper size, they all print out on legal size. Any help would be appreciated. If you don't want to leave info here, you can email me at ed41143 @ yahoo.com.

Thanks!!!

There are 4 white buttons on the printer display control panel, from top down.

1. Press left/right on the top button until you see "PAPER HANDLING MENU".

2. Press LF/RT on the 2nd button to "TRAY 1 MODE=cassette/first"

3. If not already in cassette, press the 3rd button to change to "CASSETTE" then the 4th button to confirm with an "ASTERISK".

4. Repeat step 2 and change "TRAY 1 SIZE TO = LETTER".

Make sure you have an updated (PCL5e, PCL6) driver from HP website.
