Another Stupid Newbie Question

So if you overnight the loan package back and eveything is fine...I assume you would never hear anything from the Title Company.
So lets assume for a minute there is a problem....typically how soon would you hear from them about it??????

Good question, Rob! (...she said as she tapped her foot because the last minute package of edocs are already late...but the client is a good one/ fee is $150...l so she's really trying to be patient right now.)

I'd be interested to know the answer to this as well.

Yep...not quite so far for me. Waiting.............................

Now I am really perplexed because the lender told the bwr that the docs are ready for me...but "that ain't, Babs...they ain't!!!"

I'm waiting too. Have a closing for 6pm (CST) with a 45 min drive (OW). Borrower would prefer to meet earlier, but it ain't happening. And due to an engagement Bwr cannot do it later. Escrow officer says she doesn't even have docs to prep the HUD, etc, told her about Bwr's rigid schedule but she could make no promises.

But it's too hot here to be foot tappin'. It's 95 in the shade here, my grass is brown and the weekends here. So if docs aren't here in 15 min, I'm headed to a movie & Cold Stone Creamery. After I call the Bwr with an update of course.

Re: Another Stupid Newbie Question...Rob

Generally if there is a problem with a Signing Agent's work, a call would be received early on, so any problems could be resolved in a timely manner.

Once the documents are received by the company, they review them fairly quickly, since loan docs are time sensitive, given the 3-day right to cancel.

****Not a stupid question.

Please stop putting yourself down. There is no need for it. I firmly believe the only stupid question is the one that is never asked.

To answer your question, probably as soon as they receive the docs and go through them. My experience has never seen this go more than 24 hours from time of receiving the docs.
