Marketing Tizzy
Today, before I left to go do a little job , I got a big stack of marketing materials together to keep in the car.
I never leave my house specifically to go do marketing...the hitting the pavement type of marketing...because I always find something the "keeps me from it." However, once I am on the road, I am a marketing nut...but then, I am not prepared and don't have anything to leave with the places I see.
I fixed that today. I left the house prepared. I used to keep my stuff in the car but got lazy. Today, I dropped off five packets to places. Next week I will follow them up.
The momentum is what it's all about. I don't get into my game until I am already OUT there and jazzed from working. Once I get into that frame of mind, I am ready to sell myself. Try getting your materials together and marketing in between to any and every place that might need a loan closed. It works.

No picture these days, but I think it's a good marketing tool on a business card.
I use clear vinyl folders and put a one page (bio/short resume/services/coverage) inside of it stabled to it. People like those clear folders. At Sam's - 50 for around $5-$6.
I have them for loans and for regular mobile notary work. Red/yellow for one type. Blue/clear for the other.
Tab the folder with "Notary - 555-867-5309"
