F.Y.I. - NNA Conference '06

The 2006 Conference will be held from May 28 to June 3 in New Orleans at the New Orleans Hilton.

I went last year to PA. Spent about $1,000. Big waist of time. Instead of going to the Notary convention I went to FEMA training, training is free just had to pay my way there and hotel and I spent $500. Now I have my FEMA Certification. I made that doing 1 Commericial Inspection. The money I paid will pay off by me getting more inspection work. The NNA has not helped me get work only flooded my area with new notaries.

Margaret, you may have mentioned this in a past post, but what qualifications do you have to have to go to FEMA training? How often do they have training?

I am already a HUD inspector and have training and knowledge of construction. They have training all over the country. Go to www.parrinspections.com. You have to pass the test and then they send you your certification and ID number

Hmmm. They send NNA membership renewals monthly beginning 9-10 months before they are due -- I guess announcing the 2006 Conference approximately 10 months before the fact, is par for the course for the NNA.
