Forums Alias is already in use

Brain freeze happening here! Trying to change my name back to what it was in profile but when I do it gives me the same old story of Forums Alias is already in use,How do I change it back?? I know it is a simple thing but can not fix it.

See where it says Forums alias...if you drop down that box does it give you an alternative that will work?

I understand it will not let you change your forums alias, but thought if you just changed to "forums alias" in the drop down it might work.

The drop down( Default Identity ) has my full name and annom. Forums Alias was DellaCa now its changed.
When I change to anything and hit update it comes back already in use I guess because I'm logged in.
