Thanks for your help. But would you say that it would be better to purchase a black & white one instead?
This 3015 one is an all in one, that's the reason why I'd like to get it.

Mine is a black and white, I cannot print color , my old printer had everything and also a flatbed to scan things that you can not feed. If I had a black/white and color I could print out my other work also, as it stands I have to switch around.

It should do the job as it has pcl 6. I have heard a few times on this board and from a client of mine that it tends to overheat. Never seen it happen, only heard. I own an HP 3330 which is currrently discontinued. You might find a good deal on Ebay or HP for a refurbished one. I've never heard of anyone, including myself, having any issues whatsoever with this machine.

Thanks, Joan. Do you know of any other good laser all-in-ones?

Re: HP 3330 mfp

HP Link to discontinued 3330 mfp

But you can get one barely used on Ebay for much less.

Re: Have HP 3015.

OK Just bought from HP. The rep said I can use the feeder up to 50 pages when printing a combination of both legal and letter. Has anyone had a problem with this in the past?

I love my 3015!

Anyone considering a printer for loan docs must keep in mind that it MUST be a laser (toner) printer, not an inkjet (wet ink) printer!

Color laser printers that you can afford are s-l-o-w. Forget 'em for loan docs. Sorry.

I use Lady Rouge's small HP DeskJet or her big HP DeskJet 9600 printer when I need color. She uses my ... oops! ... the HP 3015 when she needs multiple printed pages, b&w copies, or to fax. She has a Canon flatbed scanner (we love it).

I have a separate color printer and flatbed scanner. If you need something printed in color, just choose a different printer for that application. The HP3015 does scan in color also, just not print.
