Have you seen this???
Just got a call from an attorney who is getting ready to meet with his client to seal a deal on a lump sum lottery payout and will need a notary when they are ready to sign the papers. Has anyone done anything like this before? He said it was about 6-8 pages that will need notarized and I told I could do it for $50. At the end of our conversation, he said most notaries he works with charge about $100, so just let him know if I needed more after I saw it!

I've done these through companies like Peachtree, and negotiated a rate of more than the $100 you mentioned, which included travel.

I have seen it advertised. Lotto Winners or anyone that has structured settlement can take a lump sum less percentage which the person handing them the cash keeps and then collects from the settlement or lotto payoffs. Take the $100.00

I notorized a "straight note" last week and I was offered 100.00 dollars. I did it in 15 minutes. If you have a straight note that means you can have a "non straight note" too ?

I guess I should take the $100 and figure it makes up for the $65 I got the other nite doing a package of 150+ pages!

That's righ jjkuhl...at the end of the day, it doesn't matter who paid you $100.00 for the easy job, or $65 for that long rev mort...just as long as you made it all balance out in the end.

Make sure you exchange cards with the attorney. On the back note what your coverage area is & tell him you look forward to doing business in the future! Give him several cards and tell him that if any of his colligues need a notary to please give them one of your cards.
