Help!!!Please

I have a siging tonight that envolves a quit claim between the borrower and his x-wife. The qiut claim is filled in as of them personally appearing where it is to be notarized. The problem with this is she is in Hawaii. The mortgage company wants me to notarize and then send to a notary in Hawaii to notarize the wife and attach an achknowedgement. But if I am signing the notarizing part of the document it is like I am notarizing both signatures because both of the names are filled in. Isn't that wrong??? Also there are a few other documents that have the x-wife on them that need to be notarized. The mortgage company just told me to ignore her name on them but shouldn't something be noted or crossed off on her signature line?? Help!!!!!

the easiest way for me is to attach a loose ack with his name only on it and leave the other for the next notary. Some people cross thru the second name and write 'for (his name) only' next to his signature line

I have had some like that and I also don't feel comfortable with it. What I do is mark the signatures with an A or a 1 and I do the same for my signature. I hope this will help.
