I could just scream

I posted earlier this morning about the SS that called me several times every 5-10 minutes on Thursday confirming a signing for tomorrow night. Now I just get a call from another SS where I faxed back 10 pages yesterday -- required faxbacks and my invoice -- "what's the tracking number?" The tracking number was included on my invoice, as well as the Signing Instruction Sheet detailing tracking number and where the package was shipped.

Why require faxbacks if they aren't even going to be looked at? Besides that, I probably could have saved at least $2.00 long distance fax/phone charges. Now I'm required to use cell phone minutes to say "look at the pages I faxed."

Then I just turned down an emergency signing scheduled in 25 minutes. "Can you print e-docs and get there in time?" I didn't even ask where "there" was, but said NO without any hesitation. "Well, can you give me the name of someone who can?"

Yep, sounds about par for the course. We fax a novel and no one bothers to even glance at it.! My no no list is constantly growing!
