5.3 near Yucaipa...

Not too far from here!

It felt VERY strong. Especially since I was sitting on a rickety metal grandstand watching my daughter's ice skating practice. Oddly enough, no one's cell phone worked for at least an hour. Anyone else notice this?

It has since been downgraded to 4.9 but we really felt it in Lake Arrowhead. I hear there may be rock slides 38 near Big Bear.

Do you remember that really large Big Bear quake from several years ago? I was up there in a tall barn when it hit!
The entire structure just creaked and swayed...so scary!

I love the Lake Arrowhead area. My husband and I were just talking about another visit. Saddleback Inn is our favorite!

I think maybe more, there was one in NorCal, 7.0 , a tsunami warning was issued. This one wasnt Huge but we were rockin.

Yes, the earthquake yesterday was increased today to 7.2 from 7.0 since it was more severe as previously thought. I guess there was a tsunami that hit on 1964 that kill several people and of course, they wanted to prevent from happening again.

I guess it is a good thing the earth tension is being released little by little as there are fears of a big one hitting California.
