WE ARE A SS COMPANY IN MARYLAND AND WE ARE READY TO PICK UP A NEW LENDER , THEY WANT NOTARIES IN CALIFORNIA , AND THEY ASKED IF YOU NEED TO HAVE ANOTHER LICENSE TO DO REAL ESTATE CLOSINGS

There is currently no requirement other than a notary commission to do signings in CA and I'm not aware of anything pending. If you need notaries in Southern CA my partner and I would be glad to help. Please see our profile by clicking on the orange box.

If you are a Notary Public commissioned in California, no license is necessary to handle the signing of loan documents.

Closer or Loan Signing Agent????
Mike - is your lender requesting "Closing Agents" or "Loan Signing Agents"? As notary loan siging agents, we are NOT Closing Agents. The Closing Agents are through the Title/Escrow companies. Just clarifying.
