Link on my site

I am posting this ago to have better reach----anyone who has thus far responded by phone or email is linked. I had a little problem and a few were dead lionks but they are fixed. if you want a link send me an email as below. If you are going to use your notary rotary listing, make sure you include your zip code in your email so I can find you at notaryrotary. (Ted I got your call and you are linked)

Asking for your links and in turn revealing my other business that I have kept pretty hush hush

I have a new consumer focused mortgage information site. My prime use for it is generating mortgage leads. -- the site is www.quoteinwriting.com I also have a site where LO's purchase the leads I generate--I am in the middle of a transfer on that one so I will post it when the transfer is complete. Currently it is not taking new info well and overall it has me frusterated.

In reference to the lead generation site www.quoteinwriting.com I believe a lead generation site should be full of content for the consumer rather than a "Hey you need a mortgage?" ad that leads to a form or is a form placed in between an advertisement for books and flowers. I am going to look at linking title companies too so that would also be a good thing for notaries. I already have a page to promote notaries (just Brenda and I am there) and the idea that a consumer can hire their notary directly--I know you have to love that idea. if you would like me to place a link for you on the site email your link and 2 sentences about you to [e-mail address] The site is new so it will take a bit to get the SEO I am targeting but I forsee a great site as my current lead generation site is extremely successful (producing about 300 mortgage leads a day that I am selling) -- and I built this one with the same concept but a different approach. I know you wonder about linking to the one that is getting many hits and I would like to do it but putting notary links on it would be out of place, I just don't know how I would lead it in that direction and you know the old adage---If it isn't broke.....

I will also place the link on the site which sell my leads to LO's in a section which focus (how in the heck do you plural the word focus---is it foci---lol) on resources for LO's.

My sites DO NOT nor will they ever ever in a million zillion years have any content, links or links to links that have anything to do with adult sites or any other type of sites that may be considered offensive to people (sorry guys---lol--and some gals--lol--just a joke) I also WILL NOT participate in any email spam or fax spam---I think that type of behavior is done by the most desperate of the desperate and rude of the rude.

Please understand there may be some links I cannot accept if I already have a notary in your area and I apologize if yours is not placed. It will be the "early bird gets the worm" in the big saturation areas, however I will consider experience and know how over the first email to be it to my hotmail account. My purpose is not to build a notary directory and having a bunch of notaries in one area defeats the purpose I am going after.

Take Care,
Michelle

Michelle,

How do you get the information for your links, as far as notaries? Have you worked directly with them to have first hand knowledge of what you are displaying or is this based on information you have read or been told by the individual him/herself? Are you affiliated with those listed or are they just those who have previously been to your site and requested you to post their information? Also, other than the request mortgage info, I do not see a link on how to submit any information to you or contact you. Will you be posting something along that line as well or is this not a possibility?

P.S. Your http://www.quoteinwriting.com/LoanTypes.html page is also off centered and a bit skewed.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

PJ

Thanks for the feedback on the loan types page. I know it is rough but I am having a heck of a time writing the code for it. To be honest, it was worse. I do hop to improve it but for now I am focusing on content---I will stumble on the code for the page and have it look better.

As far as a way for one to contact me on the site, there isn't one because there is no need for one. I really don't know why one would want to contact me othre than ask me a million mortgage questions for no benefit to myself. Rather they can fill out the form and the LO who will BE PAID to do their loan can answer the persons questions.

As far as notary links, yes there are a few I have personally hired to close loans I have written. There are others in which I have exchanged information with and have presented themselves in the exchanges as being knowledgeable and professional in their field. There are also others who have asked me to include them on the site and I did--taking their word as to experience.

I do believe you also sent me an email asking this. Number one it is my choice who I list and as I asked in my email, Why do you care?

I actually have never sent you an email. This is my first questions posed regarding your site as I was glancing over today's posts. I'm also really not even sure who you are. I don't keep track of who all posts and who everyone is. Your user name did not have a link on it to contact you directly with these questions so I posted them here.

I was asking because one of the notaries listed is in my area and sometimes I get calls for closings I cannot fill. So, prior to referring one of my closings to another notary in my area, I wanted to know if you had knowledge of his/her performance before making such referral. I don't want to lose my clients because I refer someone who may not know what he/she is doing. I'm sure you can understand that. That is all.

P.S. Not sure what program you are using for your webpages, however if you are using a preformatted template and downloading this to frontpage, it will sometimes throw off the layout of the page. (Just a helpful tip). Happened to me with some webpages I have worked on. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a pro on web design. It is just something I have picked up along the way. Smiley

Thanks for your feedback.
