Loan corrected during 3 day
RTC, I do not remember this question being asked or answered anywhere, please excuse me if I should know this.If docs are not correct but the borrowers sign anyway and get things straighten out during the 3 day rtc. How do they know the #'s were acually fixed or changed? They do not get new docs ( New Hud )to sign?? or do they get a copy of new ones just do not sign it??I know the LO tells them it is fixed but how is it proven to them? Confused here

Lots of borrowers tell the lender that if the HUD is not corrected and faxed to them for signature, they will happily use their RTC to cancel the loan.
They mean it.
Many borrowers do not sign the wrong HUD. They tell me to tell the TC that they will happily sign a corrected HUD.

It has happened when I've done signings. A wonderful opportunity! As long as the borrowers are willing, have them sign everything they are willing to sign and not the documents they aren't. Keep the signing service in the loop! Then it's likely that you'll get the call to go back and do a mini-signing with the replacement docs. Treat the borrowers with kid gloves, be nice to the loan officer, and be as helpful as possible. Everyone will remember you in a positive light. Customer service!

Sounds like great customer service to me, so are you saying the docs not correct will be redrawn? Will it be in the 3 day rtc or will there be another rtc date for the new docs? By the way the one I'm talking about was today and she would not sign anything because she said you'll have to come back anyway to sign the new ones so she wanted to wait, she was not comfortable sign something not correct and not being sure she would get any corrected ones. hope I'm making sense its late and the pillow is calling now. Thanks Lights out!

Wimp! It's only 02:29 Eastern, making it 11:29 Pacific.
Yes; only the incorrect docs would need to be redrawn.
Whether there'd be a restart of the three-day Right To Cancel would depend on what had to be redrawn (I think!). That's a great question.
One of the benefits of things being slower is that I can get back to MY normal circadian rhythm. Sandi is a morning person, so she's been asleep since the middle of Letterman. I'm just finishing up some Web work for a social organization, then I'm off to dreamland....

In my experiences with incorrect/corrected HUDs is that the TC usually sends a corrected HUD directly to the bwrs for their sigs with a return FedEx envelope enclosed. No return trip necessary since no Notarization required.
