Midsouth Notary Association - June 25th meeting
Tim Gatewood - the organizer of the meeting has asked me to post this for him:
Please pardon me if you have already received this meeting
notice. I am so excited about having KATHY POSTON from The Signing
Registry as our Special Guest Speaker that I wanted to be sure you know
about this important event. The Midsouth Notary Association is a new
professional membership organization for Notaries Public in the Midsouth
area (west TN, north MS, eastern AR). This is a group by Notaries, for
Notaries, focused on what Notaries want or need. The main points of
the group are professionalism, education and fellowship -- we hope you
will come to our meeting to learn more (or see the website at
http://notarymemphis.com/midsouthnotary.html).
Our next meeting will be Saturday, June 25, 2005, starting
at 2:00 p.m. at the Roadhouse Grill, 709 Desoto Cove, Horn Lake, MS
38637. This is in the shopping center just west of I-55 at Goodman Road.
As a special treat, we will have Kathy Poston of The Signing
Registry speaking with us about the Signing Agent business and
what her Registry offers to its members. The Signing
Registry is one of the best organizations available for those who want to make
money as a Notary and it is a rare delight to have its founder address
our new group.
This is a dutch-treat lunch meeting. Please come prepared to
pay for your own meal; we will order from the menu.
We will have DOOR PRIZES, including a copy of The Signing
Guide, the book put out by the Registry, (which usually costs $75.00 a
copy); at least one Notary Journal; and a National Notary Association
bank bag. The door prizes will be given at the end of the meeting;
all those who have attended the May or June meetings will be eligible for
the drawings.
To reach the Roadhouse Grill from Memphis, take I-55 south
to the Goodman Road exit (Exit 289); exit to the west; turn right
at the first light. Then turn right again onto Desoto Cove, which looks
like it is part of the shopping center parking lot. The Roadhouse Grill
is on the right.

north to the Goodman Road (Exit 289); exit to the west; turn right at the
first light. Then turn right again onto Desoto Cove, which looks

Grill at 662-349-6858 (note: from Memphis, do not put the "1" in
front of the number, but do use the 662 area code).
