Nasco - can't reach borrower
I know the right answer but just need a little support at this moment. Soon, I'm leaving (with edocs) to drive an hour 1 way to a closing that I have not confirmed with the borrowers. I only have the wifes cell and a work phone with a full voice mail box. And of course their home phone is non-published. Nasco is so easy to work for I would not want to risk my realtionship with them but I don't have a good feeling about this one.
I know I need to go but, what would you do?

Call Nasco and verify that you would receive your trip/mileage and printing fee if the borrowers aren't there. Make sure you write down the name of the person you talk to and the time.

I've had a couple where I couldn't reach the borrower(s) to confirm the appointment. I went anyway. (NASCO does pay trip fee of $30 and edoc fee of $25 if edocs.) Lo and behold, the borrowers were expecting someone from Citibank to show up. Signed, sealed and delivered the docs back to NASCO and promptly paid.
So, go. Shouldn't be a problem unless the broker didn't communicate with the borrowers.

Thanks Paw - reached borrower
Lucky day, talked to a human at Nasco. She gave me the brokers number who gave me the borrowers home phone. Turns out borrower lost his cell phone, and was expecting me at noon.
