Jen, have you ever been to Pineland, TX? They have to rent a horse once a month just be called a one-horse town. My grandfather lived there...well, actually, he lived in Magnolia, a suburb of Pineland. Which is about like saying a series is next in line behind reruns of Gilligan's Island for an Emmy. When I was a kid, Pineland consisted of a feed store, a gas station/post office, five fundamentalist churches and a Ku Klux Klan chapter. The KKK was agin' coloreds, Catholics, cueers, and any kind of sex that the missionaries of four of the churches didn't use. The fifth church was the Southern Baptist, and everybody knew, you get them liquored up they'd try almost as much hanky panky as Houston Episcopalians. Fun place.
