Quit Claim Deed

When doing a quit claim should I fill in the "date executed" or is that for recording purposes??
Thanks!!

Date executed should usually be the same date of the mortgage and note if earlier than the date sigined. If same day as signing, then use that date
Your notarization should be dated as of the date that signer appears before you, as allways.
Deed should be dated on or before date of mortgage
THIS IS NOT BACKDATING
