Just got a check for a signing I did in March! I had written them off because of what I had read on this site and other sites. Wonder if they are trying to change their image? Before I take another signing from them I'll wait and see.

It's June and you just got paid for a MARCH signing, and now you're considering possibly working for them in the future?

When you bend over like this do you normally use lube or do you just let them stick it to you dry?

There slow to pay - they just paid me for a signing I did at the end of April - but they do pay !
So far...I still have 3 more that I did for them, so let's wait and see.

To CaliNotary - I think you need to re-read the original post. I said that "maybe they are trying to change their image" and I'll wait and see. This does not infer that I'm ready to work with them or in the future UNLESS they change. That's what wait and see means.
As an aside, have you been "stuck" by SOX? If not, what are you b****ing about? If you had, do they still owe you?

I'm not bitching about SOX, I've never worked for them, nor have they ever called me.

I just find it amazing that you're even considering working for them again in the future. Aside from the hundreds of negative postings about them that have graced this board, they took almost 3 months to pay you for a signing. There would be no "wait and see", they've already proven themselves to you. That alone is reason enough for me to NEVER work for a company again.

To me it's hilarious that you take that as a sign that they're trying to change their image, hence my comment.

I can't think of a better metaphor to get across the point that I was trying to make, so I'd say yes, it was necessary. I think it's PG-13 at the absolute worst.
