Sign on the X Called Me!

Just got a call from Sign on the X. She asks, "Do you still work for us?" I replied "Not a chance and good luck finding someone." I feel empowered!!! ha ha.

I love it when they call, It's my chance to lay the smack down on 'em! I always let them know they have THE WORST reputation. A supervisor or some other servant of the dark side almost always calls back with a lame story like they've sloved their accounting problems and again asks me to take the signing. Yeah right. I always suggest that if they send payment with the docs I'll consider it - but they never take me up on that. Gee I wonder why?

When I was making my daily phone call yesterday demanding payment for service I provided on 4/22/2005, I brought up the fact that they will start finding it more and more difficult to find Notary Signing Agents because of the poor payment reputation. I was told by Missy, Director of Operations, "We have no problem finding signing agents to close our loans."

Good for you. It does my heart good every time someone says they turned SOX down. Perhaps they will change their payment practices when they learn they can not find Notaries to sign at their closings.
