The New Speedy Closing
I received a call from Matt of Speedy Closing of Sommersville, NJ today for a signing. He said he would send a conformation via e-mail, not yet received.
After the call, I found negetive feedback on this company and am now concerned about payment. Has anyone had recent dealings with this company or have advice.

I've worked for them and they payed within 30 days.

They may and may not be so speedy at times, but they do pay. It could takes up to 60 days b/c you invoice them at end of the month you did the signing(s) then they send the check out at end of the following month.

They called me last week. Saw their name on the caller id and didn't answer the phone. Don't they require a lot of faxbacks?

I have worked for them since end of April. Yes, you have to send an itemized invoice invoice at the end of month. And payment is approximately 30 days after that. But you know that going in. No run arounds. Personally, I can live with that. I have NEVER had to fax anything back. Just inform them of completion and the tracking no.

Agree with Barb/LI above. Did a closing in April and sent an invoice at the end of April. Only had to fax completion and tracking number to them and no fax-backs. Got paid 30 days later.

Did a signing for them 5/7/05. Invoiced them per agreement 5/27/05. They state they will be pay end of following month. Still awaiting payment. Hopefully I will get paid!

Must be this company has cleaned themselves up? My experience with them has been a difficult one. I do not work for them. Nor do I work for on Call Closings out of NY, as they are brother and sister and have always been rude and difficult to deal with. Payments are slow and incorrect. Numerous calls to get paid and to get paid the correct amount.

If you having problems with no or slow payment by Speedy Closings in NJ. And the title company was Fiserv, you can call Kathy Jud at 1-800-842-8423. She is with Fiserv's vendor management department and let her know your situation.
